Cat Medicine

Sometimes the people in one's life can say and do things that are baffling and hurtful. We are all so different, and what makes sense for one person can feel like betrayal to another. As I work my way past just such an experience, I am so grateful that I was called to be a professional pet-sitter, and that the Universe has put so many wonderful animals in my life. Especially this week. They too have their own personalities, likes, dislikes, and ways of doing things. I wonder if, on a day when they feel discouraged, the presence of a loving human does as much for them as the attention of a sweet cat does for a discouraged human...
