Tranquil Times

Blossoms of pink, purple, and white adorn the flowering shrubs and trees at this time of year. Their delicate colors and shapes, and heavenly scents, cause a walker to pause, look closely, breathe in, and feel better. Whatever may be on your mind seems less important when beholding such beauty.

Life is like that. When I get caught up in the negativity of politics and the cruelty that dominates our news, I lose sight of what is truly important. There is nothing happening anywhere in the world at this moment that can change what I am experiencing right now. I am alive.
