This is a big summer for bunnies in upstate New York. They are everywhere, of every size! Seems whenever I visit my labyrinth or stone circle, a big-eared visitor is munching the clover growing there. They do not seem unduly nervous around me. I try to get as close to them as possible, because I think they are so beautiful.
This one was having a snack next to the lilac bush we had planted last month. He obligingly moved out of the tall grass so I could get a nice picture.
I've discovered that if I don't walk in a straight line at them, that they don't get jumpy. I can get fairly close. Keeping my energy down and projecting calmness seems to help.
