Usurping the Message

In a brilliant move, the McCain/Palin team has usurped the message of change Obama has been singing for two years, and put their stamp on it. Obama's problem is, they've actually accomplished meaningful change in government. Obama talks about change. They can point to examples of having made change.

It's classic GOP to hit at their opponents strength. And what is Obama's strategy? To keep trying to tie Bush to McCain. All he's got to back that up are his words.

And since McCain's speech in a convention center drew a larger audience share than Obama's speech at the faux Temple of O in Invesco Field, I think it's clear that American voters have seen through the hype, smoke and mirrors that carried Obama for so long.
