Are People Still Buying This Bull?

When asked at a news conference about Rick Warren, who Obama has, inexplicably, asked to lead an invocation at the inauguration, Obama said the following nonsense:

"And that's how it should be, because that's what America is about. That's part of the magic of this country is that we are diverse and noisy and opinionated."

which he then followed up with Obama-speak, or as they know it in Oz, "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain, look over HERE"

"I think that it is no secret that I am a fierce advocate for equality for gay and lesbian Americans."

Actually, Mr. Obama, it'st a big freakin' secret because your actions don't demonstrate this AT ALL. There was the "hate tour" through Dixie during the election, with Donnie McClurkin. And of course, your jettisoning your campaign promise to repeal DADT.

Gee, just watching what you do I see a BIG DISCONNECT between your actions and your words.

"It is something that I have been consistent on, and I intend to continue to be consistent on during my presidency."

So we can sure he will be consistent in paying lip service to lesbian and gay Americans while continuing to demonstrate his own beliefs, because a person is known by the company they keep. So he can whitewash this as being "inclusive" but this is just more of Obama showing us that he is drawn to bigoted members of the clergy, who preach and teach discrimination.

So yes, he is being consistent.

Mr. Obama is a fierce advocate, allright. For himself.

That's the end of it.
